Title: Quick question

I noticed that my rear drive shaft knuckle is bad and I was wondering what would happen if i removed it all together and didnt replace it...any thoughts?

ok so if im reading this right u want to take the whole rear drive shaft out? and drive in front wheel drive?

if it has it needs it... I'm not a ford guy but I would say rebuild it!

Guys I think he means his CV knuckle that is at the T-case end of shaft . You can take it out but you'll need a longer shaft and some new u-bolt to hold the joint in. Your CV is threaded and the yoke isn't . If this bronco is lifted at all I wouldn't remove the CV it'll bind without one.
