Title: what all would i need for vortec 350

Well I want a v8 truck so imma drop a vortec 350 intto the blazer

SO

I was thinkin even a newer 5.3

Eaither way what all would I need to do, I know the majority mounts, headers, computer, n engine harness, thatt it? Im gonna go with 98+ vortec either way

if your truck is 4x4 gonna need oil pan a 2in body lift will make your conversion little easier 8)

dont know what year your blazer is but vortech requires a high pressure fuel pump to run... 62 psi

Body lift was a givin I want one anyways ;D

You have the same pump as a V8 right now, everything will be pretty much plug and play if you get the computer from a donor vehicle, as stated though you will need a different oil pan for the 350. As far as the computer goes look for a donor truck, get the motor out of that as well as the computer, make sure to write down the Vin # and after your swap is all complete I will tell you how to get some amazing horse power out of it for cheap! Do not forget Vin # very important!!!

PS: You will also need different motor mounts, they sell complete kits for this swap, includes headers, oil pan, motor mounts.

try summit racing too, they got more stuff than you can immagine, and if ya can't find it e-mail teh tech guys and they'll figure out how to solve what ever issue you got, what engine base are you going with, gen 1 2 or 3? the old block style, the lt style or the newer ls style?
