what kind of fuel do you run thru that motor?  110 by chance?   maybe this will just sound dumb but i have to run 110 in my quad motor cuz of my compression.  well  i blew it up at silverlake one year  and at one point i got it to roll over so of course i kept tryin to start it.  never ended up working.  anyways  i tore the motor down soon as i got back and tossed the head in a back off to the side till i was ready to put it back together.   about a month later i pulled the head out of hte bag to put back on the motor  and i noticed there was a sticky film  all over by the valves and where the spark plug comes thru the head to the combustion chamber.   buddy told me he thinks  it was all the unburned 110 from when i kept tryin to start it.

not sure if that is possible  but maybe an idea if thats what you are runnin for fuel.     if not then i have no clue whatelse it could be lol

to me it aounds like something was introduced to those 2 cylinders.. especially since their side by side and the rear most/ closest to the exhaust outlet.. did ya park by something that coulda leaked into it? i would hope that none of your neighbors has enough hard feelings tward ya to try and sabatoge a motor like that.....

Them cylinders are most likely runnin lean. Probably a vacuum leak at the intake runner. The sticky stuff could be oil that is carmelized. The cylinders in question are runnin hotter than the rest, heats the oil in there till it carmelizes. The oil gets in there because the cylinder is overheatin and the piston and cylinder are gettin outta shape and allowin it to get in there.. Sometimes you gotta run plugs with different heat range than the rest to compensate for various other things that might be goin on.

besides reading plugs regularly used infrared gun on each cylinder so pretty sure did not have problem before this

I know sabotage happens all the time at races I've seen it happen and busted ass for it too dad used to have people mess with his lock outs on his old door slammer and even cought someone trying to empty is nos bottle when he had his rail so it wouldn't suprise me any if that's what happend but old schools idea could be it too!

i've seen to many people do to many stupid things to intensionally damage someone else's property, especially cars.. ya should be able togive an exact payback to people or something that do that with no consiquences....i know when we used to go to the strip we never left the car or trailor unattended because of that crap, and we tried to keep an eye on all the racers parked by us too
