high pressure power steering line...
I just cut the end off the stock chevy line. Then replaced the fitting with the toyota fitting and reflared it. It worked great...

yeah thats what i think iam gonna do to. but i wasnt sure if i could just run new hose. if i could just use some heavy duty hose clamps. i got some hydraulic hose thought bou using that.
Title: Re: Ranger on k5 frame and my '87 toyota (THE YOTA)
Post by: spr_chicken on November 12, 2011, 05:48:52 AM
You can use clamps on the low pressure side. My chevy pump had to much pressure on the high pressure side to use clamps on it. I looked for adapter line and they were way over priced. So I just used the yota fitting on the chevy line.

I used a surpetine set up from a 1988 chevy w/t ext cab 4x4. It doesnt have a/c or an air pump and it only has a 4 groove belt.

been a while sense ive updated. iam ordering my headers this weekend for the yota. four link is all done. turned out sweet. i ended up shortening all the bars. now ive decided to return do finishing out my ranger that i started last yr. me and my buddy are goin in as parteners on it. we got a semi built 305. nothin special but it runs good. we're gonna bring the axle real close to the back of the cab. and put the 44'' that iam getting on that. not sure if we're gonna shorten the box. probly not. the only thing i still gotta get is a tranny and t-case and is ready to start building. iam just goin with my old toyota leafs.
