Well the old 3.0 has had it olny runs on 5 cly so im pulling ,trans wireing and computer from a 1998 explorer with a rod knock and i got a 5.0 from a 1997 im geting all the parts i need before i tare in the the ranger so i can still drive it.

Well, how's the power on it? I know more than your 3.0 but compared to other 5.0s
still has the awd that takes alot of power away so we are going to change the t case

its done!!! got lot of power for a ranger anyway it will burn the 33s with no problem
hey what did you do for motor mounts? im doing a swap except im using a built carbed 302 and a full size trans/tcase
used the 5.0 explorer mounts thay bolted rite in

He just HAD to stop by my house and pick up some GM parts for it, I think the GM tow rig is starting to infect him....

your mounts are difrent you will need to buy mounts for the swap

getting the bugs worked out changed the injectors today runs and idles a lot better
