well got the stuff to remove the old paint, some wet sand paper, sanding block, cemical remover and some primer and tape, so going to try and get all the paint striped off this weekend and get it in primer and got some color paint to do a test on a old hood to see how it will look, picked up some rims tonight to, thanks damn ford.

another good looking chevy ;D id buy that also ;D
well got new door locks for it today and put one in. tommorrow I will start takeing the old paint offf and then put the primer on it. I found out that the person i got it from had painted over the orginal color without removing sanding it down and then repainting it.
well started pealing off the old paint today and it was coming off pretty easy and looking alright. then got the rear quarter on the passenger side and found about a 1/4" of bondo in it. then noticed that the rocker panels on the rear quater on both sides and under the doors are rusted though after poking them with a knife. so now its getting both rear quaters and both rocker panels to make it rust free.

yeah i will just need to know were i can find some at. thinking about getting a short box bed and cutting and making the panels fit.
so know i got majoritoy of the old paint off just got to do the roff and inside the doors. The next step is to sand off the rest of the old paint and primer.

nice paint job how does that paint spray been thinking about using it on my chevelle
It sprayed good. This was the first time I painted anything and didn't really have to worry about runs in the paint. Went right from the can to the paint gun just ran it through a. Metal screen before it went In the gun
I took the old carpet out and put new carpet in.

I like it good job!
Great work!
I would skip on the stripe for sure. Way over done now days.
I don't think the lower half would look bad at all in black, but I like it as it is now with just the flares black.
looksgood like the color!!!
looking good for sure
you can get 33s on it with just blocks on the rear and a torsion bar crank
Its got a 3" body lift and has 305 tires on it already. Haven't put blocks under it or cranked the tortion bars up yet.
