i have a few questions about them ive never done anything with them so idk much about them.
are they stronger then standard tie rods?
if i was to do a solid tie rod and used them and some grade 8 bolts and did the tie rod flip would i have alot of slop or bump steer?
shouldnt have bump steer as long as you drill the hole the right size
so if i got a 3/4 inch heim drilled a 3/4 inch hole and put a 3/4 inch grade 8 bolt in i wouldnt have a problem?
nope not a problem same way i have my setup right now only difference is im full hydro
are they suitable for on the road use?
i would deffinately trust them but not sure about the laws on that
where could i look to see if there legal?
im looking at doing the same thing for my truck. I want to do the crossover and tie rod with heims.

theres a place online that does complete dom tubing crossover steering for all makes of vehicles i want to do the tie rod flip
Just make sure you use a shoulder bolt!
Be sure to get the good ones with teflon in them, they'll last longer and be cheaper in the long run. I've ra them on trucks before and neer had an issue. Built a few sets for friends and they haven't had any problems either. I always use 3/4x3/4" and be careful drilling the ears and pitman arm, the bit catches easy and you'll end up breaking a $30 drillbit.
