So bogged the k5 hard yesterday at budget bogger$ bog. Did great no issues, but when I left nd tried to drive home my front end developed a death wobble. So I pulled over, pulled off my steering block, and put a couple washers between the spring and spacer block thing. It helped some, but still wobbles when I hit uneven pavement. I'm thinking the spring is worn out. Didn't change them when I did the axles. Do they have a heavy duty spring?? How much are they??
do you have mud in the rims?
Like inside u mean????? I don't think so??? Can that happen? I sprayed the wheels at a carwash b4 I put the washer in.
inside of the rims behind the outside
yup I was just thinking the same thing. Had that happen many times with my old bogger. If you dont lay down and get all the mud out of the rims and front end it will cause that wobble or shaking.
UNBALANCED
Mud is gone...wheels are balanced.
jack it up, see if you can move the tire up and down, like you would when checking ball joints. might need to put some omph into it.
Yeah, ill try that after work
well ???
got a link?
It looks like u gotta buy 2?????? Am I right??? One for each side?
And I just got my jack back so today I'm gonna jack it up and shake it.
Wonder if u could put steering arm on it instead of supplied cover?
GET YOUR WHEELS REBALANCED HAD TO DO IT TO MINE AFTER EVERY RUN
I got balance beads in mine.
