ive always wanted to see some 5" or up stacks run straight out the back, that would be sweet! then you could take some of those ricer honda exhaust tips with the led lights in them, put them in your tips, and wire them into your turn signals!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont haul anything in over drive. Them trannys hate it. Good way to blow a hole in the torque convertor. If it doesnt already have it get a temp gauge for the turbo and the tranny. 7.3's are a pretty indestructable motor, its just everything hooked to them that likes to break.

oh and if it has them stupid hubs on the front that say AUTO - and LOCKED make sure you turn them back n forth alot, if you leave them in one position too long they get stuck and they are expensive to replace. If you ever have issues with the autolock its got vacuum lines ran to the hubs to lock them, and they run off a vacuum pump on the passenger fender because diesels dont make vacuum (no butterfly in the intake to make the pressure differential)
samn shoulda got an s10 for my tow rig! Lmao oops thanks for the tips

Sharp truck! I'd go full exhaust, turbo back to behind the tire. Every crazy way you could think of on where to route the exhaust has been tried, and the easiest and most functional is behind the tire. If you run it in front of the tire you will have fumes in the cab when you stop at lights if you have the windows down. I've ran it that way before myself, but not for very long. ==doh I'd run a straight 4" aluminized, turbo back kit from Flow Pro/FTE Diesel. These can be bought for around $300. Stainless is nice too, but it cost a little more. Get ahold of Wally at FTE Diesel (216-496-3600), he's just in Ohio. I've bought a few from him and he had the best prices. He sells modified Flow Pro kits, that are real nice.
Hope you didn't buy a programmer yet, I like the F6 Smartchip from DP Tuner (dp-tuner.com). Its a plug in chip, with an adjustment knob you run to the dash and can switch between 16 different custom programs. You decide what programs go on the chip. Its not bad priced either, less than $400 if I remember right. The F5 version has alot of the same features for around $200. These are good quality tuners for not alot of money.
You're going to want an intake and gauges too. Just put a huge Napa 6637 filter on there with a cheap kit from Riff Raff diesel (866-446-3360), and at the very least an EGT gauge. Riff Raff is excellant to work with and will get you the best prices on the DP Tuner and filter, gauges, and maybe exhaust etc.
You need to join www.ford-trucks.com (http://www.ford-trucks.com). There is an absolute wealth of information on there. Very knowledgeable dudes on there that can help with any issue you may have with your truck. You will like the 7.3 Diesel section. I'd get on there and do some research on the tuner, exhaust, intake, etc. questions you have just to make sure I'm not full of p00. loll
Hope this helps ya. ++peace ++peace
wow man thats very helpful! and the programmer is some type of on the go deal? idk
Yep, that tuner is adjustable on the fly. Pretty nice to have. Some of the most common programs are theft lock, high idle, horsepower from 0-120, etc. They can set it to pretty much whatever you want.

Trent I let off cuz I heard a clunk, then it broke, are you serious? I bettin it wasn't rollin coal when u started pullin
i want a duramax! Still a nice truck though Blake! i think you should put a 8" stack on it!!
Nice ford kid loll.....j/k........but seriously.....id drive it.
And ill watch the video when you guys post it....I will be an impartial judge loll
The powerstroke vids are a few posts up...

I never said ya didn't win I give it to ya fair n square! But...I broke the cummins hittin second gear, reckless didn't break it! Lol however ya wanna look at it it was fun and trents a heck of a guy! And yes...can't run geo u joints with a cummins, if we rematch..it'll be me in 4 low, not 2 high, and both of us locked in. ;)
Anyway you look at it, Cummins is the best option for a diesel, and diesels will ALWAYS out pull a gasser assuming it doesnt break.
