i use a restrictor instead of a thermostat, synthetic oil takes away a lot of heat also

have you ever heard of  "water wetter"? about 10 bucks
it suppose to help cool the temp by 30 degrees. another one is "40 below" about 21 bucks
that is suppose to cool temps by 40 degrees even in extreme conditions.
I would consider this extreme!! I havent tried it yet but i plan on giving it a go.

I will say this again for the billionth time, get a regular water pump, every friggin vehicle I have seen run a high flow water pump has had over heating issues. The water does not stay in the radiator long enough to cool with high flow pumps. You should also run a restrictor or thermostat for this very same reason!

A motor that isn't making power efficiently will run hotter. A couple degrees of timing one way or the other may help out.
