Title: what would you do
Post by: ice87 on August 08, 2011, 11:37:25 PM
So im restoring 1980 regular cab long box drivetrain is 454/sm465/205 dana 60 14 bolt ff 4.10 gears. I have to run a 3 inch body lift because it's a 2wd cab. Should I go 4 inch lift with 35 mts and get a set of offroad 35s for play or go with a 6 inch lift and run 37s on the road and my 38 tsls for play. This will be on the road either way I go.  Thanks for any input.

This is one of those questions that going to be all up to you man.  all boils down to what you want to pay and do with it, and what you like. Good luck and hope to see pics!

i'd go with the 6 in lift for the bigger tires

IMO Bigger is usually better, provided you have the power to move it!
