Title: 91 K1500 / '79 carb'd 355 swap
Post by: Yankee Hick on September 05, 2011, 04:13:07 PM
i've got a MSD 6AL, and a HEI distributor / coil for this motor.

how do i connect the tach to the new coil, as the original motor had a regular style cap?

also (i know, i'm a pain in the ass), is the head bolt torque specs the same as the 88-94 350 (25, 45, 65ft/lbs)?  thanks again, ya'll!!!  i couldn't survive without you!!!

Update:  guy at Advance Auto says that I I'm using the 6AL, there's no need for a coil, so just use a regular style cap.  I'm confused!  Which way is best?!
