they have that model at Hobby Loby in Flint. I had the replica of that when I was a kid. Also one of my fav models. Its really getting hard to find them now. Growing up places like Wal-Mart,Meijers,K-mart, They had half of an isle's worth of different styles, paints, and glue, Now you have to drive to a hobby shop just to find a few and they want like $20+ for a single model. Really sucks because I LOVE building model cars and trucks.

i took a monster truck kit and smashed it with a chevell kit to make a monster car plus i put red led's into the head lights that worked. it was pretty cool.  plus i took a GTO and put a serious rake with some slicks that i cut to give it a street drag radial look.

Some of them are cool looking.  But I have never been a fan of the Crazy ass Custom T-Bucket look.  Love the Drag Cars and the old Hot Rod stuff over the crazy 70s looks.

love make'n them but never just got one we would buy two or three of them and make one car/truck ......and rember at fair time us demo derbys were big in my neiborhood with the older guys so us kids built models reinforsed them with any kinds of metal or hard plastic we could find and paid intre fee's(that paid for a new model for the winner) just like the big guys and had heat's and judges was kinda cool...and then the elementry school i went too once a year would have a carshow we used to look forward for that every year

I had a late 80's camaro model that I loved.  I killed it with some bottle rockets strapped to the roof one day. I think my dad still has it in the basement

I used to love building them. And then I would get some fire crackes and blow them up and make more out of the peices. Until there was nothing left of them. Good times
