Title: AXLE SHAFT CLIP
Post by: KORNBREAD on September 16, 2011, 02:01:25 AM
Taking the rear axle shafts out of a rear 10 bolt from a 92 full size blazer chevy truck. For some reason The driver side clip is JAMMED!. I dont get it. Ive tried pushing the axle in from the outside in, worked it with a flat head screw driver, ive tried clamping on with long tip needle nose vice grips and pulling the daylights out of it. Still stuck. what the hell??? anyone else ever heard of this??

fabed a hook thingy to the end of my long body hammer. she came right out. Has a small metal bubble on one corner of the clip. wonder if someone tacked welded it or something. Not sure but I got it out and all fixed.

someone probably hammered it in, those clips are soft.
