Does any body have some quick easy tips to. Squeeze a few more R's so I can keep running third gear in my bogger, right now I can run between 5300-5500 rpm in third but would like to be able to get closer to 6000 rpm, I ordered a tune up(new distributer, plugs and wires) because it breaks up a little on the top end so I'm sure that will help to get rid of it and I am also gunna jet up the carb a little. So does anyone have any tips to help me out thanks

I don't know about 8500 third gear I range, sounds hard on trannys and I already have problems with those but I will be happy with 6000 third gear low range

FREE HORSEPOWER AND EXTRA RPM: Key off, driver in driver seat - mash gas pedal all the way to the floor and hold. Have your buddy look straight down into the carb and make sure it's opening all the way. Many people have been quite surpised at what they see when they perform this check. ;D
