i have a 91 chevy 4x4. last week the motor locked up and i need my work truck. so i'm thinking about taking the running gear out of my bogger and trying to fit it in my work truck.. does anyone think i can get the 390 ford big block wit a c-6 transmission and divorced transfer case into a 91 chevy z71?
go find another tbi motor. not worth the time IMO...
i'm in a money pinch, just trying to figure something out
whats your bogger? I got a 350 and a 305 both are carb motors but will work better than a ford motor.... not a ford guy but mabye I can help ya out..
95 explorer, on a 77 f250 frame. how much u wantin for the motors?
that would be lot of work lots of things your prob not considering like fuel system will have to be modifyed power steering connections ? linkage for trans t case lots of little things like these can turn this into headache ???
i got a tbi motor i ll sell if it help u out pm me
I'll take $150 for the 305 runs good but could use tune up. can hear it run before I pull it the 350 is a mild 350 I want $800 for that..

or put the tires off the work truck on the bogger and drive that ???
The swap youre thinkin about doin will cost you more than a tbi 350, and youll have somethin that nobody wants when you get done.. They are $350-400 all day long around here. Sell your bogger or some of the parts to it and buy what ya need.
X101 and X2 on what everybody has said
keep the fe in the bogger.
