i seen this comment on a pic of the occupy movement vs the tea party rallys on my facebook, and seen how true the statement was.
QuoteI'm running across a lot of people who I believe are well intended and who are mostly conservative who are buying into the "Occupy" movement in the belief that the "99%" reflects a pro-liberty point of view. Nothing could be further from the truth and if they start looking into the people who are organizing these protests and examine their agenda they'll see very clearly that the movement is anti-capitalist and pro-communism.
They are counting on being able to leverage the public's justified outrage at the fraud in the banking industry that caused the subprime mortgage debacle and the subsequent theft of trillions of dollars in tax payer funds to bail them out as the basis for organizing support for more government intervention in the free markets in order to drive their social justice agenda. Their goal isn't holding the government and the fradulent bankers accountable. It is class warfare and wealth redistribution. Their "demands"- Free tuition, living wage regardless of employment status, wipe out of all debt, re-distribution of wealth, etc.
I'm urging those of you who are conservatives and are supporting this movement to take a much closer look at what they're trying to accomplish. Go beyond the hype the MSM is touting and actually watch some of the videos and interviews of the protesters. They are anarchists and communists. If you're a constitutional conservative you do NOT want to hitch your wagon to this train.
Sounds like the groups my ex girlfriend was following online, ain't it funny how easily people can be lead by some big talkers spewing p00
