I've done it a few times, you just need a video downloader and there are several video converters that will convert the audio to MP3...

you can find what you need at www.download.com (http://www.download.com), not sure if I can post links to the programs being as it is pirating...

First extract the audio from youtube video, I use this site, then just burn it on a CD or load it on a Mp3 player just like any other song. http://www.listentoyoutube.com/ (http://www.listentoyoutube.com/)

Can you just record it directly off of the headphone jack? I play the audio of my pc on the stereo with a $5 adaptor from radio shack, sounds real good, no distortion.. But Ive tried this before and the music has little beeping sounds in it every so often..  ??? ??? ???

or you could also try using this site www.loudtronix.me (http://www.loudtronix.me) but be careful which ones you get because if you download a mp3 with background noise say like from a mudbog you will get the noise from the trucks in the background, so look for vids that are photo slideshows with the song your looking for.

easiest way to do it is with this link http://www.youtube-mp3.org/ (http://www.youtube-mp3.org/)   just copy the link and paste it into the box on that site and save it to your computer.
