Title: how much h.p. is enough

How much HP is enough ?  Long  ago I thought 550 would do it now we are close to 800 and I want 1000.

bigger is better.and its nice to have the big power to power your way outa things ,but to me the bigger you go the more work it gets.and it can take some of the fun outa our crazy hobbie. some times its fun just to have a low buck  mild hp(350/400hp) motor just to go beat on without a care in the world of what might break and how much its gonna cost you to replace or rebuild it....just my two cents

x2, and honestly a long lived 400 horse that's grenede proofed is more enjoyable than 900 horse ya gotta mess with beefore and after every time ya run it

love all the power i can get....all i was getting at was I cant aford to build $20.000 ride just to go break.more fun to go the cheep rout with a mild build motor that if i break it i wont loose anysleep over it....its all about fun they all get stuck

Bigger HP = stronger trans, axles and driveshafts needed and better suspension, cuz if you got 1000 HP but cant get it to.the ground, you might as well not have it!!   Unless you just want bragging rights  ==roxx
