Title: no heat!!!

so long story short changed heater core because it was fogging my window..had a good leak..
now i have no heat,,before took it out had awsome heat now i have noone?
what did i do?

how exactly do i do that ?? i had the ratiator cap off few times looks like a cyclone of water in there

luke warm at idle
going to reroute the hose from off the radiator to the water pump and plug the ratiator

what kind of vehicle? some of them had bleeders in the coolant system

thought bout the thermoste but worked good hour before changed core 

but good thinkin on the trap door did have some words with the linkage when was in there have to check that out ....thanks

 yeah let it run 15. 20  min before left work  its was luke wrm when  took off and went to a chill

sounds like a trap door  but even more ya got air in system  if it was trap door it wouldnt change heat just stay the same so im guessing air  the way i do it is fill it up start it up run it till warm then have someone jump in it for ya and rev it up a little bit poss 2gs and then fill it up some more and put cap back on and then have them let off gas and it should take

i have seen thermostats do the same thing to even thou it was good if filling it up dont get it i think i would do thermostat

goin to tinker with it on lunch.. did the rev up theroy and fill before i left shop after was warm..takin the hose off ratiator and back fill core?

That's gonna cause more air in the system, them ol chevys are a pain to bleed out sometimes
