what is considered high and what is low

3:08   is high      and 6:72 is low               like in your t case     1.8 high  to 2.6 low gear

depends on the application, mileage high is better, power low is better

x2 with 500 hp and 44s I run 4.56s in low range on my 241...... if I remember right I have about 47mph wheel speed at about 7000 in 2nd gear.... and its not enough!

I am going to run 513s with 44s but with a 208 and 700+ bbc

60 front 14 bolt rear and yea it might let go we will see..

Also depends on axles.  14ff lowest gear is 5.38.

38s  on 1tons with 5:38s 400 trans/dana 300 t-case 400 + hp sbc hope it works for me
