s10 cab weighs more than my dads 49 chevy cab and front clip ! believe it or not

A complete std cab 5 speed 4.3 4x4 short box was 3300lbs when I used it to scrap all the time, minus me that is.

Yup give or take.  From what I've heard a 2wd std cab short box s-10 is the lightest frame and its still pretty strong. I believe that's what Rat on Crack runs if I remember right, frame wise anyway.

still body wise if fully loaded is heavier than they look, they gotta be real close to 100lbs for just the cab n box n fenders

4 door is around 3800 2 door take off 250 or so.
