what is the specs on the head and intake the intake i have the good felpro gasket steel with rubber and some people are telling me 11ft lbs but then some say more because of the thick gasket ??? thanks
THIS IS WHAT I FOUND HOPE IT HELPS:
FOR THE HEADS, TORQUE THE BOLTS THREE TIMES
1ST @ 25 LB/FT
2ND @ 45 LB/FT
3RD AND FINAL @ 65 LB/FT
FOR THE INTAKE:
Install the lower intake manifold bolts. Tighten the bolts in three steps:
Tighten
Tighten the bolts on the first sequence to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
Tighten the bolts on the second sequence to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
Tighten the bolts on the final sequence to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).
I WOULD PERSONALLY TORQUE THEM DOWN, WAIT A BIT AN RECHECK THEM AND RE-TORQUE IF NEEDED.
