i used A&A in davison for a few years. needles to say at this point i will never go back i got to know the owners steve and tim. we had them do some work on a 440 BB and lets say they owed us a block when all done. requested certain parts and got charged for them but lesser parts where orderd and installed on there rebuild to pay us back for there mistake. it go's much much farther.  get ahold of JR. at rodgers crank service north of oakley on M-52. he is the best. been useing him also for many years. honest and very well rounded. great machine work and knowledge.

wow i found A&A to be a great learning exsperience. they only charged me 5000$ for a 3000$ motor had it on the chassis dyno for 3 days but they only charged me for 2 days because they couldnt figure out what was wrong with the motor they built . the price on the build went up 3x  during the build and i dont understand how. we used nothing from the original motor to start with. i have heard about complaints about some of the guys mentioned above. the exception to this is ricky bryant from bryants he cost more but if you only have to do it once its worth it to me.bryants is the only engine builder i will go to.

i can speak personally for stan boyd. he is a great guy but he dose not do everything in house. i had him do the machine work for my twin turbo lsx block. the machine work was dead nuts on and i will stand for him and his quality any day.

Ricky bryant i have never used dont know where hes located at but i have heard very good thing about him and would deff give him a shot sometime.
