On my 91 chevy truck my wipers only work on high. The park or low speeds don't work. I've tried another wiper motor. Tried another wiper/turn signal switch. Ran another ground strap to it and they still won't work on anything but high. Any ideas?
Circit Board in the wiper is Junk or the wires going into the board at the plug are bad.
My 94 S-10 did it and it was board that was bad.
Gm Had a Recall on the wiper motor boards cracking and causing issues like what your talking about.
I've tried a differnt circuit board in the motor and differnt wiper motors and it still only worked on high. I have also switched out the wiring harness and that didn't fix it neither. And now I'm out of ideas.
did you try a new wiper/signal switch? if you had a used one it could be same problem, i had the same problem and it was the switch.
It was a used one from a steering column I bought from a friend.

i would try a new one than, hope it works for ya
Yah might have to just didn't want to spend the money on the new one and still not have them work right
take a jumper battery to the junkyard.. find one that works and get it.

Steve I have the same problem in my 90 K5 blazer right now, it only works on high, and no inermitent.
but my wipers do work, but the squirter hoses are junk, and need replaced.
I would check your hoses to make sure they arent clogged..............sounds silly that BOTH could be clogged,..........but you never know.
Also If you have cruise control, then buying a new one will be more money than just a standard (non cruise) one.
The washer motor its self isn't even coming on. And it has cruize but the cruze control boX isn't installed in the truck right now.
Prob just going to buy a new switch to eliminate that problem and know its going to last awhile if it does fix it.
Finally figured this out somewhat. Bypassed the firewall and ran the wires from the wiper motor right inside and hooked them into the wires coming from the steering cloumn and they work now.
