Title: my huntin blind
Post by: burl on December 20, 2011, 03:11:35 PM
Well I picked up this trailer this summer for 50 bux, n used it to haul wood at first them I filled it up with stuff to go to the landfill, was just gonna drop the wholething off...well I started thinking and now im building me a hunting blind outta it, gonna be somthing I can't sit out in all day seems all the deer walkthrough when your not out there here's what it looked like when I got it home and in the barn

Trailer size is 61 wide 85 long and its gonna be 72 high

(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/lil_burl/2011-12-15_20-46-01_876.jpg) (http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/lil_burl/2011-12-15_20-46-01_876.jpg)
(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/lil_burl/2011-12-15_20-45-40_710.jpg) (http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/lil_burl/2011-12-15_20-45-40_710.jpg)

Took all of the aluminum off the top of it and took the lights off n painted the back of the trailer

(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/lil_burl/2011-12-16_19-50-48_821.jpg) (http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/lil_burl/2011-12-16_19-50-48_821.jpg)

And then I was trying to figure out what to do, what my plans ended up as some rough work 16 on center most of the way here's what a started to do, then didn't like it and started over with some new wood and this is how it turned out, it made the trailer really solid so im pretty pleases with it, gonna get me 2 peices of 3/4 plywood n put it down on the floor and bolt it down n carpet it

(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/lil_burl/2011-12-18_16-55-24_460.jpg) (http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/lil_burl/2011-12-18_16-55-24_460.jpg)

And I got 5 of these windows for free from my aunt, I can only use 2 bc they are 65in long and the trailer is only 61 in wide

i got a  propane coleman heater out of a camper  it dose not have a visable flame  it has a sight window and a qaurter covers it nicely so in the dark the hunting house wont glow in side.
i do alot of coyote huntin from mine. just remember to get the barrel out the window in a box that size it is LOUD i know and a revolver all the way out the window.
