no, a stroker motor is a motor that has had a crank with a longer stroke put in it, you could build a 302 into a 355 and call it a stroker......

4.28 inch bore and a 4.25 inch stroke will give you that displacement

what size overbore is that? .030?

yeah it'd be a .0303 over 454 or 427 block, more than likely a 427 t, but the crank would probablly be an aftermarket one

454 1/4" longer stroke 30 over is 489, 60 over is 496. getting one built as we speak/type

rod length plays a small part. the compression height(place where the pin sits in the piston) changes.

rods really don't play a part in displacement, just cababilities of the motor...

so would would be the pros and cons of using each rod length?
