i have a 14 bolt FF with a carrier with 3.73. If i put new gears with a spool, do I need to go with thick gears or regular? not sure what to get.
save yourself some money and just weld the spider gears

not if you get a full spool and get the one for the gear range you want to use.
never tore apart the carrier before,guess it will be a learning experience. ==wgm
