Title: What torque converter do I use?
Post by: Jthomas on January 16, 2012, 06:29:55 PM
Need to be pointed into a direction here. Looking to upgrade my Tq converter. I drive it to work everyday, but I do like to get out and play ;)

Specs:
1988 k5
700r4 (w/ TCI full manual valve body)
208 t case
454 (500-600 hp) in process of building.
14 bolt FF axles ( 5.11:1 gear)
44x20 tires
Approx 5000 LBS.

Thanks

you need one to fit the power range of the motor and the weight of the truck and gear and tires... I would call EDGE converters and they will hook you up!
