are these heads considered vortec heads
need to be a bit more specific, but if you are referring to 88-95 gm sbc heads with tbi, then no.
vortec heads are vortec head they come off vortec motors
To the best of my knowledge tbi=1987-1995 heads vortec=1996on heads.
Since vortec motors use a throttle body, im sure they can be mislabeled...

I dont think fast burns were used on factory motors? i could be wrong. thought they were only on the crate motors like the zz4 and such
and IIRC, the fast burns are basically aluminum vortecs....
Them heads suck...they stop at like 4500 rpms if tht
no, and most of the tbi heads were thin castings so watch for cracks, especially the low hp versions

404hp on the dyno, all factory parts, 2-barrel holley. Youd be surprised at whats on the shelf at the GM warehouse.
