debating what size to use as well as wall thickness whats thick enuff per pipe size and what are any advantage/disadvantages the truck cab is small and i want it inside the cab ==wgm

In my new comp truck I am using 1 5/8 x .134 Mild steel
CRC rule:
ROLL BARS & ROLL CAGES-ALL ROLL BARS & CAGES BUILT AFTER 2006 MUST BE 1-5/8 OR MORE BY .120
WALL STEEL OR 1-5/8 CHROMEMOLY X 0.090 WALL, (NO SQUARE TUBING OR THREADED PIPE) MOUNTED
WITH 3/8 GRADE 5 BOLTS TO FRAME.

thanks for the info the 1. 75 x1.20 should be heavy enuff i want it to be safe for shure there aint much metal on this old cab
.134 is heavy duty but better safe then sorry.... I crushed my 1.50 X .090 wall so I went big this time
wher you getting your material at ?? i know theres lots of places but drivin hours ads up to offset the savings im also thinkin the main hoop behind the seat and the legs down to the front will be the thicker wall pipe
There is a company out of flordia that will custome bend all your pipe for you and ship you a 8 point cage for under $450... its called applied racing... I found them on racing junk.com
