theres 2 wires goin to each side of rear window for the defrost, well one of them broke off, looks like theyre sauderd on or somethin. how can i fix this without breakn my wallet. can i reattach somehow. thx for reading..
I believe they make a repair kit for them atleast for the lines that go across the window might have something for that also
you can very carefully solder them on, use a pencil torch, and dont heat to much in one spot or it could melt the copper or crack the glass.
is it gonna get hot when on, and possibly melt sauder and fall off.. i guess i got to go to parts store and c what they got.. thx for the info guys..
no it wont melt solder it dont get that hot
thx xjs3667
no problem oh and on the copper wire where you solder it on the glass, use some emery cloth or really fine sand paper and give it a light sanding, there is a coating like a clear coat on it and solder dont like to stick to it all that good lol
roger that
