Title: rear steer ?s

got 2.5 tons rockwell with rear steer... the hydraulic pump works great recently rebuilt turns tires fine but the solenoid clicks like crazy the whole time your turning  is there a relay or something i need to add on? any advice would be helpful thanks

it would help to know the setup.....   what kinda pump?  what valving is being used and whatnot

but it kinda sounds like the solenoid is on the fritz... have you replaced it yet?   It should click on once when your turning and off when not

been workin on engine lately. I figured id check out the solenoid first i haven't gotten back to the rear steer yet it works good just the solenoid is constantly clicking. ill check it out get info on the pump and post it.

post pics of the setup, sounds like your running an auxilary pump, similar to a snowplow pu mp.  check for a good ground on the solenoid, and a good 12v on whatever comes outta your switch.
