i was wondering if it has the same concept as a sbc 350? set it to tdc 0 and have rotor pointing to cylinder #1 or #1 on cap? cant remember which? just a project which i m doing and need to start up the motor once i switched the dizzy
ford guys?
i always pointed it at cly 1 on the cap
Get the #1 cyl tdc on compression stroke, set your rotor in pointed at #1 piston and start there and go counter clock wise
now thats 2 diffy perople telling me 2 different things . cap or piston?
It doesnt matter where you point it as long as you start your number 1 plug wire where the rotor is pointing.
If you point your rotor at #1 cyl, when you put your cap on, the plug wire your rotor is pointing at is number 1 then go counter clock wise. I hope this makes it clearer :)
