So I am going to try to stitch the cut sidewall on one of my 38's. Obviously this is for the bogger. Question is what type of thread or string to use? I got some 65 lbs test spyder wire fishing line, or does anyone know a better thing to use?? Also need a big azz patch to cover it, wondered where to get one of those to. Alresdy have a good tube to put in. Any sugestions be great guys. Thanks
get pics when u do. i got a set of 38s like brand new but someone got pissed and put a nice gash in them.
I don't know for the stiching part but with the patch I know auto value has some pretty fun big patches but I don't know what your area auto parts has
Any tractor parts dealer with have what they call a "boot" patch in a couple different sizes

Talked to MONSTER JEEP, he stitched one up a while back. Then took it to Bader Brothers in the big town of Crump and the put a big azz boot in for him. Gonna try to get it stiched up tonite and over therer in the mornin. I take sum pics along the way n let ya's know how it tuns out.

I recommend finding a tire dealer that deals with ag tires. They have boot patches that have cords in the patch it self. But when u patch it make sure u put the talc powder on the area of the patch so the tube doesn't glue it self to the tire.
ive used high test fishing line to sew a drag slick side wall, 3 inch gash and it worked fine with a loader patch and tube. just make sure like said before to use talcom powder
Started sewing last nite but the dang needles are brittle. Plus some other probs com up with the DD so get side tracked for a bit. But tghanks for the talom powdetip guys wouldnt of thought of that. I am using spider wire to do it. I keep all posted on results
