ive got goodyear wrangler a/t on my 97 dodge does great, had them on there for about a year and around 30-40k miles on em and there still at around 50-75% tread I cant complain they do great in rain mud snow and anything else :)
maybe everyone run's BFG's for a reason

ran them before good tires (not the best) but i dont like running what everyone else runs
I Got Some Goodyear Duratrac's From Flat Black And Love Em! Great Tread And Do Great In The Snow...Read Alot Of Reviews Bout Em And Never Saw A Bad One
heard from a few of my buddies that the duratracs wear really fast but are a great tire thought about them but i like the mtr better
sand scoops

mtr's are over priced and over rated. bfg km2's or baja claws. the duratracs are a great tire along with Nokian Vatiiva MT. heres a link to help with your hunt http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires/ (http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires/)

mike those are the tires i have up top
i just got some 31-10.50 wild country radial mtx i'm realy impressed with them..
Claws suck in the snow
Duratracks are good, they dont really wear any faster than the other MUD terrians.. if you want tire life you gotta go to All terrian in, when it comes to those BFG all the way. I considered getting the MT/R's but they are expensive and last I heard they quit making them, but maybe it was just our store couldnt get them ==dunno
I use the Duratracks and they are my favorite so far, and they don't look much different from when I bought them last year...
trxus mt/t best tires I have ever run on a dd truck loved them lots of miles and hooked great everywhere I took the truck!
All I can add is that the Nittos seem to wear fast.
I have BFG ATs... I thought like you at first, but ended up sticking with them. Best deal to me.

I'm partial to the BFG's but since you insist on being different. Before I became hooked on them, I ran General Grabbers and really liked them. I had the wrangler ats on my 08 sierra, and they were just above the wear bars at 32000 miles...I liked them but they wore way fast, and I didn't rag on them. The cooper ST is nice too.
yea my first choice is cooper st love those tires but thet changed the tread pattern ==doh
mtr or cooper st ....i belive you can still get the old st from kanrock tire
love my cooper discover stt's
i seen the old style st's at kanrock the otherday i think... have had many of tires in the last few yrs loved my st's the most out of them all so far and they didnt even have the greatest tread... have terra grapplers now, wear real fast...wild countrys wear reall fast...had baja claws and they were terrible in the snow... have dayton timberlines on 1 of my trucks right now and not very good in the snow... the best tire they ever made for a dd truck was the yokohoma geolander at last for ever and the best you can get for snow, my dad has some with about 40k miles on them and look new and the guy at the auto parts in creek got 75k miles on his b4 they were real bald
well i did it i ended up getting tires today cooper st max and love them always ran the old cooper st so i figured might as well stick with them
Come get that thing dirty at the house!
i got the old cooper st still got bout 80% tread. We could do a comparision test , i like gettin my truck dirty loll
