I bolted the 6000 pound winch on my 97 jimmy but I broke the cable I think I was winching  too hard of an angle and locked up 1 of the rollers ..... but it works great with straight poles. I will be by in the 9 or 12,000 pound winch with a 20 percent off coupon

i think im gonna do the same thing but put it on my trailer for "just in case reasons" if the bogger isn't running or something to get it loaded on! im really glad i saw this video! deff gonna go buy one buy a bit bigger.

Yeah, I'm impressed! I was pulling at a 20 degree offset angle as well. I have their Road Shock 10,000 lb winch on their receiver mount. Slides in the truck and on the receiver in my trailer as well. Best deals I ever had.

Paid $50 for this one and $350 for the 10,000lb winch and receiver mount. Good stuff if you don't mind the slower pull speed. Had to mod the winch clamp on the big winch though, the original cheesy clamp didn't last too long. ==roll

yeah I had to remove the load protector on the  6000 pound winch when I put it  on my jimmy

i got the 12000 badlands it pulled a 22' motor home on to a car hauler with the rear tires locked up  no problem
