just an idea ....put a hot pink or neon orange zip tie on the ratchet and one at the hook  then no confusion there

I can get tie downs in addition to my straps.  About ready to place an order.

I am trying to figure out if I want to go with the kind that have a section of chain on the ends or not.  I like the idea since that is usually where the fraying starts to happen.  The chain section would allow the tie downs to last a lot longer.

But, they are more expensive than the all nylon ones.

those ones are great I've had mine for abour 6 years now with no problems, I love having the chain as you can always extend the length of the ratchet with more chain, not so easy when its a strap

Pretty sure I am going to carry them.  Just gathering up the cash to get the initial run made for me.
