i know there's gps systems to find routes to cities and houses and what not, but is there something that you can put on the dash of the truck when you go trailing and then plug in the computer and have it put your route on a map with any kinda accuracy????
they do make trail gps, quite pricey tho, the kind you can take hunting, and you can have it record your exact route that you take, but like I said pricey, $800+
my handheld gps does that but i havent figured out how 2 use it yet and it had the cable 2 hook it 2 a pc and print it out 4 ya but like i said havent figured out how 2 do it yet
and ya it was pricey right around 500 a yr ago

if you have an Android phone there are a few high rated free Trail GPS apps, it'd be worth a look...
the garmin nuvi has whats called "tracker" basically draws a line wherever you go. you can then put that on your computer and put it over maps
i do it with mine. 100 bucks on sale at walmart

hard to get? the garmin? no, just seen them yesterday at wally world. radio shack carrys them also
no man i ment hard to get your route on a map right like that cuz it sounded like ya gotta kinda set it over a map yourself???
