4 link calc in my opinion is a joke. its geometry. every truck is different so everything will have different setups. it's not as hard as everyone thinks. the best way to tackle the project is to get in there with a tape and start measuring.
i agree with dirty chevy done a parrelel trianglated on my 99 cherokee and every thing just fell together way easier than thoght just measure and remeasure right stuff down it all about triangles
That all depends on what use the truck is when doing 4 link with mud bogging its not all that critical, but if you are doing some type of drag racing either san or mud then that's where mathematically its critical with balance points and bar angles, or with rock crawling its different because then its more about articulation
bar angles are very critical in the mud 10 to 20 degrees think about it the more angle the impact is going to be transfered into the frame instead of shock or coilover. watch youtube there is hundreds of vids that will teach you everything about it . just so you know im not bluffing about knowing here is my jeep on turkey day flying over 8 feet high into the air and when i landed it felt like jumping on a trampoline it was so soft
