I have an '89 dodge truck with the 318 tbi. I parked it the other day now it wont start. I have power to the coil but no spark. Changed the pickup coil that didnt do anything. I also noticed it was not spraying fuel out of the injectors. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is my plow truck and I have accounts to plow. Thank you!
check and double/ triple check grounds...... had the same problem with mine, after 3 days of scratching my ass I finally found one of the ground wires was coroded....... I forget which one as its been a number of years since I had that truck tho, but good luck and hope thats it
dump some gas in it see if it starts that will tell if its fuel or electric. is one thing to try.
auto shut down/fuel pump relay.
the asd seems to be working it makes some noise when I turn on the key. is there any way to test that? I did try dumping gas down the tbi and got nothing. Does anyone no where the fuel pump relay is? Thanks for the input .
I had the same problem... no spark and no injector pulse.... ummmm.... I dont remember what fixed it. I think it had something to do with the base of the distributor has to be grounded to the intake.... I had to take off my holder downer and clean everything up and put it back together, theres a gasket in there I guess it just grounds threw the holder downer. OR it could have been something completley different, I had my dodge like 4 years ago
