I've never been to a comp bog b4. Not even to spectaite. So I was thinkin I may try one or 2 this year. My question is, For those of u that are fimiliar with my rig, how would it do? Would it be a big waste of time, or would I stand a chance? ==noob ++peace
you got drive shaft loops neural safety switch you will need to have a helmet and fire exteish with you also.
imo you would not keep up, lots of 1000 hp trucks there..... fun to watch.
You never know how you will do till you show up and run it, each place is different.... and alot depends on who else shows up to run there truck
Didn't figure id stand a chance against a 1000hp truck. Isn't there different classes to help even it up?
classes go buy tires size more then anything...
O. Forget that then, id be smoked
what size tires do you have... what motor
39.5s and 355 pushin about 400hp
many different places have different rules.. some run stock classes,, superstock classes.. tire size classes,, cut tire classes.. open classes,, you just need to check them out.. some times a stock jeep with basic oversize tires might run farther than a built 502 with 44 inch boggers,,
You will never know until you try it, not so much about keepin up as it having fun with something you built. Our truck wasnt finished until the night before millingtons bog last year and it made it through the pit and its along way from 1000 hp,but it is a forddd ==rocks
you need to look at the rules at the bog you pick. you have muffers on it? you can run stock class and super stock class.
Yes have mufflers, full cage, fuel cell,
No matter what if you win or lose come in 3rd or 15th its all about the fun of the sport
Think ill stick with the play bogs

x2
A lot of places that have a stock class want u to pull vaccuum
I would give it a shot. Find one that isn't too far away and has a class that you fit it.
Also find out if it is a bog or more of a race.
They are fun... you might get hooked.
id do it just for fun plus youll have a sweet video of running with the beasts
have done 1 or 2 myself.. with a street rig..
wasn't too keen on the $$ for 1 or 2 passes...
but the show the big boys put on made up for it..
is generally a good time..
ITS A LOT FUN BIG DADDY GOT A 3 PLACE IN MY TRUCK WITH A STOCK 427 IN IT
even if you dont win sometimes its nice just to see how your truck measures up with the field of competitors
I know I don't have a chance in my class either but its the bragging rights you get with the buddies that makes it worth it. You'd be surprised the extra rush you get sitting in your truck in front of a big crowd all staring at you. Fun stuff. If you make it to the TAMR Millington bog I will see you there.

Fairgrove will work too man.
When is fairgrove
PM sent
camden and litchfield mich. are last two weekends in august i think . these are deep mud and only a few get out the end . classes are stock [must pull vacuum ] then street mod with tire size and a open class , there is atv and etc classes also ......we are located at bottom of state . funny farm campground - pioneer ohio , montpelear ohio , bryan ind. , auburn ind. , defiance , ohio , and others down here also have comp bogs and some of these run shallow pits for the little - smaller tires .....as well as deep pits
Talk a couple guys into going with you and make it your own competition. Each of you toss $20 in and the winner takes all.
i always love comp bogs even if i win or lose! i have fun with my dad and bros!! give it a try and see how you like it..alot is based off tire sizes so!! hope you give it a try!

There is currently not going to be a fairgrove bog this year unless someone else puts it on. If that changes, I will let everyone know.

That sux
Ya, fairgrove is cancelled. IMO, just come hang out and watch one. You can usually get in the pits and look at everyone's rigs and talk to people for the same amount of money as it is to be on the spectator side. I've entered a few with my old truck but I do also prefer play bogs.
