Just curious, seems like with tractor tires it would almost take the fun out of bogging? Ive seen tractor tires crawl through holes most trucks get stuck in. Plus they leave such big ruts unless you have 5,000 feet of lift your gonna get framed anyways. I have some boggers I just got and they are pretty impressive but some of the old mud holes I use to go through are not ever a challenge anymore. Just curious what everyone else though.
Tractor tires rock
Can't say I've ever rode in a truck with tractor tires but I've watched a lot. If you spin your boggers fast enough you won't ever touch the bottom. Lol it's all about having fun, you just have to balance your wallet to ability of the truck. The less money you have, the more your probably going to get stuck but not necessarily the less you will have fun. Just sayin...

They deffinantly make a truck mean!!!!
Tractor tires put the fun in boggin!
rode in a few tractor tire trucks they are lots of fun till they sink! lol but I have never rode in a bogger thats not fun! lol
its all in what you prefer, ride with someone with tractors and see if you like it.
i only have 2,500 feet of lift.
Tractors r fun if ya have a motor and good axles. Unless u enjoy changing axle shafts. Wouldn't trade mine for nothing. They rock.
I have road in 1 truck with tractors and one without, tractors was more fun.
I'd say its a matter of preference...but it does suck when they play in the ares smaller tired vehicles use and all your left with is big old ruts. example-the mounds place is full of spots that will swallow the average vehicle.
Just another a-hole with tractor tires ;D. Tractor tires are awesome!! But then again getting buried and covered in muck os kinda fun too!
i got the best of both rockwells with 44s and tractors lol

It's kind of a weird question...I guess it all depends on your budget and what you like to do with your truck. If you drive on the street, you don't really have much choice. I'll bet that a lot of guys that trailer their rigs would have monster truck tires if they could afford them and had the room to store and haul them. I guess it's all a matter of perspective. The truck I'm driving now, I bought for my son to drive to and from school and to the mounds, so I'm looking for a driver that he can play pretty hard with. When I build mine, I want it to be along the same lines, but BARELY streetable and more of a bogger. Either way, we need DOT tires, so tractors are out.
have 36" tractors on the back of the CHeep
have pro's/con's
she always goes like he**, just depends on which direction
if there's a bottom - I'll find it n' hook
if theres no bottom - it just keeps lookin
I've rode in tractor tired trucks and they can be fun, it depends alot on driving style, gearing, engine power, and that type of stuff as to which would be the most fun on any paticular rig. I've had people ride in my jeep with either my 35's or my 42's on that have there own tractor tired rigs that do good and when they rode in my jeep the were all smiles and they then understood the meaning or wheel speed . So I guess it's personal preferance.
not if ya got enough horse power ++peace

Perfectly said!! I plan on running 44 boggers sometimes, and other times running 50i inch tractors, gonna have the best of both :)
tractors are not more money than boggers....new 44 boggers cost what 750 plus each....i can get 12.4x24 (44") new tractors for 280 each.....i run boggers....my choice...both are cool......each to their own...just have fun doing it.
