so spring hit early this year, and its a slap in the face becasue my truck is in pieces and the 4 wheelin is great now. but i want to go to a few events this year, but i dont know if i should or not. i want to get out and make friends and have fun. im just worried that because of my age ill be disrespected and ignored. im just not sure if it would be worth it or not. im still tryin to keep my eyes open to an event within a reasonable distance from east jordan.
all i can say is go to some bogs and hang out. don't be a ass and no one will treat you that way. ==dunno

all the peps if met at bogs and the mounds are cool u just gotta be cool 2 them and dont disrespect them and itll come right back u the same way just remember u get treated the way u treat others
I can relate to this post about the age thing. But as long you show your respect and get along with everyone u don't have say your age it's just a number not a category.
what dose age have to with mud bogging?? when i was 16 i ran with people that was in there 30-50 years of age. its all about respect.

age aint a factor in this game, newbies and ol guys alike are all cool usually. just gotta get in the right crowd, there are some A holes out there.

yea i have no problem with that. its just i dont want to show up to a huge event, like dog party, and just get a bad taste in my mouth from a bunch of huligans. loll i just want to get out there, talk trucks like men, have a good time, and do it all again.

it is all about respect, you show it and youll get it. ive been around bogs my whole life, growing up its what i looked forward to every weekend and not saturday morning cartoons like other kids i grew up with. and dont talk a big game and not be able to back it up
Id say bogs are better for meeting people then the mounds or an offroad park. Jmo

I will say this 95% of the Got Mud people I have meet at bogs or the mounds are great people.
No mater were you go there is going to be the different groups. I tend to sit back and do some people watching before make any moves to the talk with people. But there are some places I just dont go anymore b/c of the people I have meet.

I go to the events that are posted on here, usually like to see that some guys I know from on here are gonna be there, never had any problems. Act like a man and be respectable and thats how you get treated. Theres an idiot everywhere you go, gotta learn to shut the hell up and go the other way, it aint worth it unless he puts his hands on you or yours. Leave other folks' women and booze alone, concentrate on muddin and makin good friends, youll have a blast! ;D
ive been looking for events to go to, but its hard to tell what ones im gunna make it too because of the truck not being done. i just gotta slam the engine in, get a tranny rebuilt, and get new axles and tcase. then itl be good enough for the road, and i can finish it later. but being here on this stupid island doesnt help my building rate any.
