This is my cousins 1983 chevy k20 4x4. He bought this truck for 575$. This will be our first bogger that we have built. I am only 17 and he is 15 so we will see how this goes. ++peace
Looks like a good start welcomee GotMud?
==kp, what are your plans for it?? 6 inch?? 10?? 12?? abc.. bbc??
We plan on doing a 6inch lift keeping the 350 in it till we get more money for a better motor and putting 35 on it.
We took the flat bed off and sold that for 500$$
we already got the lift for it
Looks like a great start! Keep the pics of progress comin! ++peace
Ok bowtie i wish when it was done it would look like your truck :)
My first Blazer had a 350, 35's and 6" of lift! There's nothing wrong with what your building! As you get older and learn more it will all come together. Just take your time and be safe building it, if you have questions theres all kinds of guys on here, including myself, that started out just like you are. GotMud?
ya this one as far as i no has a Th400..350 bored .30 over 6 inches of lift now on 33's on a 3/4 ton frame..we are going to paint it black and take it to hopefully ellis rd..so she is a virgin till then :)

x2 I would change that ! Nice start to a bogger !
I might have a couple extra blocks up at gramps... check my pile of "junk" out in the other barn. Stacking the blocks isnt a good idea might pop outta there.
kyle wont listen he will prolly leave it a f it all up
==roll prolly
this truck sucks monkey nutts ==np
that looks like an aluminum lift/lower block, the lower steel block and the leafspring will grind that thing to pieces. get that out of there! and someone tried to save your wasted front springs with a cheap extended shackle, you should look into a used lift kit that will come with new front springs.
should be fun
Since I took this project bogger over, We finished a whole new brake system, add 38x14x16.5 tires, cut half the crap off the frame and around the truck that didn't need to be there, moved the battery inside the cab, those wires you had on the motor were way to big, so replaced those, added springs with a 6" lift on the front and still working on it. I will post pics once she's done so you can see what she has become....lol
cool man i cant wait to see it done we had no time and no money lol to do anything with it i wanna see it when its done
what ya got so far?
u got it done yet?
Well its been done for a while just haven't had time to get on here. But we pretty much tore it down and recreated it. Its a beast and i have a blast with it.
==kp
its came a long way from when i bought it!
Looks like you had a blast boggin her thats all that matters
