We plan on doing a 6inch lift keeping the 350  in it till we get more money for a better motor and putting 35 on it.

My first Blazer had a 350, 35's and 6" of lift!  There's nothing wrong with what your building!  As you get older and learn more it will all come together.  Just take your time and be safe building it, if you have questions theres all kinds of guys on here, including myself,  that started out just like you are.   GotMud?

front shackle and headers with 2 1/2 inch exhaust

Yes, although your aftermarket shackle looks a little twisted.

stacking blocks is unsafe. maybe try and find/build a 1 piece?

I might have a couple extra blocks up at gramps... check my pile of "junk" out in the other barn. Stacking the blocks isnt a good idea might pop outta there.

that looks like an aluminum lift/lower block, the lower steel block and the leafspring will grind that thing to pieces. get that out of there! and someone tried to save your wasted front springs with a cheap extended shackle, you should look into a used lift kit that will come with new front springs.

Since I took this project bogger over, We finished a whole new brake system, add 38x14x16.5 tires, cut half the crap off the frame and around the truck that didn't need to be there, moved the battery inside the cab, those wires you had on the motor were way to big, so replaced those, added springs with a 6" lift on the front and still working on it. I will post pics once she's done so you can see what she has become....lol
