Earl Scruggs- Banjo player extrodinare, passed away yesterday, he was 88 yrs old.

RIP Earl, your banjo style changed history, thank you for your musical tallent and all you left to this world.

Earl Scruggs, the bluegrass banjo player whose hard-driving picking style influenced a generation of players and helped shape the sound of 20th-century country music, died on Wednesday in Nashville. He was 88.

picked a banjo for years.. NEVER been that good...
just an awesome sound.
