cool. cuz im going to a scrap yard to find one to rebuild. and maybe the a 400 tranny. but it would be really helpfull if i could find the years they were built. and plus, they look sick.
Twin-sticking a 205 is a good project to do. You'll have a hard time finding one factory-built, might as well read up on this link and convert a standard 205 to twin:

not sure but I think mid to late 70's
if guys are thank of twin- stick's from the old dump trucks. those are two trans mount together. its so easy to make. all need is a way to move the shifting rods that come out of the tcase. you are over thanking here!!!
yes twin sticking a 205 is cake..... and I had a dump truck came factory with a twin stick t-case, not 2 trans',
ok, thanks. ill have to go shopping this weekend.
Never heard of a true twin stick 205 from the factory.
Like others have said... easy to do and will take a lot less time searching.
i have an 88' k5, when i install the 205 on the th400. how far back will it but the levers inside the cab?

yea i planned on it, i just wanted to know how far back i would have to make holes, or if it would just fit in the factory cutouts.

as long as you make your rods long enough you can use factory holes, might have to widen the hole a little if your guna have the shifters side by side
cool, thanks everyone. cant wait to get this started.
Mine fit in.the factory cutout, but needed to trim some for the sticks to travel full movement, I may sell my twin stick shifter.for the 205 if interested, also I wouldn't search for a factory twin sticked 205, I would just modify a standard one, its easy to do
