Post by: scooterbob on April 09, 2012, 01:07:17 AM
so project coming along starting to think of maby month or so happen to pick that cab up and transfer it to the other frame..

though using to big oaks trees at granpas place, chains straps and cum along theory

or lining the frames up  to each other and getting whole ton of people to walk it off one on to other.. there will  quit bit of difference in frame height, so lifting? how much standard 1/2 ton

never tryed nothing like this, any tips helpful

i jack my cars up high is i can, put jack stands under it, and use two big ratchet straps around steel pipes slid into my trusses. once the body is cleared of the frame i let the jackstands down and roll the frame out. than i  back my trailer under the body and lower it down

Talk chad into letting you bring it put to the shop and use the front loader to swap it.
