anybody ever use a double cardan joint on the rear driveshaft? my driveshaft angle is 30 degree and very sketchy on front u joint so i am considering using one. it is a trail rig only, 91 s10 blazer 350 sbc th350 turbo np208 on 44s any other advice will be appreciated thanx for reading.
tom woods sells a OFF SET U JOINT gives like 5 degrees more angle up to 40 * 60$ each plus shiping i just got 2 of them .
Also you can use wedges to roll the axel up or down from 2-8 * to help out
also lower your tcase mount down more
i just drop my tcase over 3" rolled the front up 4* and rolled the rear down 6* the wedges are like 25$ a set but you may have to redo your leaf spring center pin at this time.
yes you can use them in the rear they work fine I used to use one on my jeep because of the driveshaft angle

Thanx for all the info guys I'm just one step closer now
The offset ujoints are not for street use they vibrate bad. A cv in the rear requires the pinion to be rotated up and pointed at the tcase.
