Title: will these bumper brackets work?

its for a pickup, but will they work on a blazer? 1988 k5.

im sort of having trouble finding parts for this particular year. seems everything stops at 87

Because your truck was built at the same time the new body 88-98s were built. There is a lot of confusion for the 1988-1991 R/V, Suburban, and Blazer/Jimmy series.

No, those won't work.

You have to order parts for 1987 if they don't list parts for what I said above. They are the same. DO NOT rely on the year for parts, because the 1988-1998 C/K 1500 is the newer body style. GM used R and V codes for the old body trucks built in 88-91.



If I remember, they never made bumper brackets for those years, as the front is hard to modify the location of the bumper.
